1. The Gospel brings conversion: dramatic changes in the lives of people who are saved (1 Thessalonians 1:4-10).
2. The Word of God works effectively in our lives, including times when we experience opposition and trouble (1 Thessalonians 1:6; 2:13).
3. The Lord Jesus Christ is coming again to take all those who have been saved to be with Him forever (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
4. God will "pay back" people who trouble those who are saved, and God's judgment is righteous (2 Thessalonians 1:4-10).
5. Live to glorify the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (2 Thessalonians 2:11-12).
