Turning People’s Attention
to the Living God
Acts
14:8-18
1. God does amazing things to get people’s attention (Acts
14:8-13).
2. Turn attention away from yourself and to the Lord (Acts
14:14-18).
1) Urge people to turn away from useless religion and turn to
the living God (Acts 14:15-16).
2) Inform people about God’s goodness and care (Acts
14:17).

Live to bring glory to God and turn people’s attention to Him
(Matthew 5:16; 1
